Grounded & Growing ABA Clinic (“Grounded & Growing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website to share information about applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for children and families in Chicago and Illinois, and to help parents and guardians request a consultation. Our tagline is “Where Every Behavior Has a Voice.”
This policy describes information collected through the public website. It is not a notice of privacy practices for clinical records. If your child becomes a client, health information related to care is handled separately under the rules that apply to that relationship. We do not claim HIPAA certification for this website or its contact form.

This policy is written for our clinic generally. It applies regardless of whether you reached the site on our production domain or another environment used for development or staging.
Information you provide
If you use our consultation form, you may choose to send:
- Parent or guardian name, email address, and phone number
- Insurance provider (if you select one)
- Preferred date or time for a conversation
- A message about your child and your goals
Those fields are intended for adults — typically a parent, guardian, or other caregiver — not for a child to complete independently.
Form submissions are sent to Formspree, a third-party form service. Formspree receives the data you submit so it can deliver the message to us. Formspree’s own privacy terms apply to that processing. We may replace Formspree later; if we do, we will update this page.
Information stored in your browser
The site offers light, dark, and blue color themes. Your choice is saved in your browser using localStorage under the key gg-theme so the theme can load without a flash of the wrong colors. That preference stays on your device. We do not receive it as a form field.
We do not currently run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this public site. If you are logged into WordPress as a site administrator, WordPress may set cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms. Ordinary visitors browsing the public pages are not asked to create an account.
How we use website information
- To respond to consultation requests, usually within one business day
- To talk with you about ABA services, insurance questions, and next steps
- To operate and improve the website
- To comply with law if we are legally required to retain or disclose information
Sharing
We do not sell personal information collected through this website. We share website form data with Formspree so the form can function, and with people on our team who need it to reply to you. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety.
If you later enroll as a client, clinical and billing information is not governed by this website policy.
Children’s privacy
Our clinic serves children, including children with autism. This website and its forms are directed at parents, guardians, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the public website. If you believe a child submitted information through the form, contact us and we will delete it from our website inbox when we reasonably can.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent through the website form by emailing hello@groundedgrowing.com or calling (630) 643-1972. We may keep information when we have a legal or legitimate operational need to do so. You can clear theme preference data by clearing site data in your browser.
Illinois and U.S. law may provide additional rights depending on your situation. This page is a plain-language description of our website practices, not legal advice.
Changes
We may update this policy as our website or tools change. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do.
